BEd, BHSc (OT), PGAP Certified

I studied Physical Education at McMaster University, earned a BEd from the University of Windsor, and returned to McMaster to complete a BHSc in Occupational Therapy. I am also PGAP certified. After graduating in 2000, I spent a year volunteering at an OT school in India before living and working in Northern BC for over 20 years. My professional interests include burns, splinting and private practice. Outside of work, I enjoy mountain biking, skiing, windsurfing, fishing, and embracing life in the north.

BSc OT · Administrator

My 30 years of experience as a community OT was an amazing and fulfilling journey. I now have the opportunity to support an incredible team of new and experienced OTs in my position as an administrator — I couldn't think of anything I'd rather do in my "retirement"! I enjoy yoga, running and cross-country skiing with my very enthusiastic 90-pound bernedoodle. Camping and spending time in the outdoors also feed my spirit.

BScOT · MScOT · DIR Certified · SOS & SI Informed · RASP Provider

I qualified with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy at the University of the Witwatersrand in 2016, and returned to complete a Master of Science in 2021, specializing in paediatric OT and sleep therapy. I hold DIR:FCD Level 1 certification — pursued specifically to support children with autism spectrum disorder and other diagnoses — and am a certified SOS feeding therapist. I continue to pursue education on therapy and supports for children from NICU care to adulthood. Children are so resilient, there is no way not to want to be involved! I believe in working closely with parents and caregivers so progress carries over into home and school.

Reg. OT · BHK · MOT

I am a graduate of the UBC Master of Occupational Therapy class of 2024. I'm excited to make positive, impactful connections with clients to enhance and fulfill their goals. Working with adults throughout their lifespan to address physical and cognitive needs is inspiring for me. You'll find me exploring the great outdoors or on the couch with a good book — there is no in-between!

BHSc · MOT

I completed all my education in my hometown of Prince George as part of the first northern cohort of the UBC Master of Occupational Therapy program. My fieldwork took me throughout the north, spanning in-patient rehabilitation, long-term care and community care. I have always been drawn to working with children and am expanding my skills in paediatrics, especially with children with autism. In my free time I love to cook and bake, and my husband and I enjoy the outdoors in all seasons.

MScOT

As an occupational therapist, I am dedicated to improving my clients' quality of life with personalized, creative therapy plans and a caring, supportive approach. My professional interests include physical injury and traumatic brain injury. In my personal time I enjoy hiking, skiing, playing soccer, and spending time at the lake — activities that are so easy to access in the North and keep me balanced and energized.

BSc (Psychology) · MOT

I completed my BSc at UNBC and my MOT at UBC, and bring experience across acute care, inpatient and outpatient rehab, and community settings, with a focus on neuro-rehabilitation. I love exploring the intricacies of cognitive, perceptual and physical treatment and thrive on collaborative problem-solving with clients. My goal is always to support people in achieving goals that are meaningful in their own daily lives. Professional interests include brain injury — stroke, traumatic and anoxic brain injury.
